China, officially known as People’s Republic of China (PRC). It lies in East Asia which is most populous country in the world with 1.404 Billion of population. Its area is 9,600,000 square km.
China is surrounded by 14 countries touching its border which is the highest in the world. The capital city of China is Beijing and its currency is Renminbi, widely known as Chinese Yuan (CNY). The national language is Mandarin Chinese. China is considered as one of the most developed countries in the world. It is very developed in science and technology. It is quite fast in mass production and distribution. China is a nation which developed rapidly in last few decades. China is a member of WTO. It has world’s largest trading power. China has vast and diverse landscapes. The landscapes of China vary significantly across its vast width. Its landscapes range from the Gobi and Taklamakan desert in the arid north to subtropical forest in the wetter south. The Himalaya, Karakoram, Pamir and Tian Shan mountain ranges separate China from other south and central Asia. China’s climate is different regionally but still it is dominated by dry seasons and wet monsoons. The climate varies due to complex topography in China. China is rich is biodiversity. It is third-most bio diverse country in the world. It has over 34,000 species of animals and vascular plants. 551 species of mammals live in China.
China is a developed nation. It has done well in field of science and technology in last few decades. It is the development of education ultimately. Chinese government is investing heavily in international students. China has 39 institutions ranked in QS World University Ranking in 2018.
The education system in china:
Primary education: It is compulsory education level in China for the children of 5-6 years old for 6 years of time. It is subjected to be free of cost. Parents only pay for transportation, food and other miscellaneous expenses.
Secondary education: It is divided into- junior secondary and senior secondary education. The vocational and technical schools also lie in this education system in China.
